Visit program for a day in Florence
If you are in Florence for a day visit, we suggest the program below which will allow you to have an overview of the richness of the city. Please note that the order of the visits takes into account the opening hours of the different monuments.

At the beginning of the day, go to the Piazza della Signoria to discover the monuments that border it, in particular the Loggia dei Lanzi.
Then visit the Uffizi Gallery (Galleria degli Uffizi) focusing on rooms 2 to 15 with a more in-depth stop in rooms 10 to 14 to fully appreciate the paintings of Botticelli. Reservation of tickets and time slot highly recommended.
Continue on to Palazzo Vecchio - exterior and interior - as it hides the richness and magnificence of its interior under a severe appearance

You can then visit the Orsanmichele Church (via dei Calzaiuoli) which is close to the Duomo, to see the interior and exterior.
Then go to the Duomo (Piazza del Duomo) to visit the Florence Cathedral and its baptistery, also located in the square.
Finish the day by going to the Arno River and its famous Ponte Vecchio.
