Visit program for five days in Florence
If you are in Florence for a five-day visit, we suggest the program below which will allow you to discover in depth its most famous monuments as well as the lesser known ones. Please note that the order of the visits takes into account the opening hours of the different monuments.

Day 1:
Start your day with a visit to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore
After the tour, continue to the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo - (Museum of the Cathedral's Work), located behind the cathedral.
Continue to the Duomo (Piazza del Duomo) to visit the cathedral of Florence and its baptistery, also located in the square.
Then join the National Bargello Museum for its visit.
Continue to Piazza della Signoria to discover the monuments that border it, in particular the Loggia dei Lanzi.
End the day with a visit to Palazzo Vecchio located in the same square.

Day 2:
Start your day with a visit to Palazzo Davanzati.
Continue the visit to the Basilica of Santa Trinita.
You can then discover the square and the church of Ognissanti.
Then join the Piazza Santa Maria Novella for its discovery and the visit of the church Santa Maria Novella.
Continue to the Uffizi Gallery (Galleria degli Uffizi) for an in-depth visit (reservation of tickets and time slot highly recommended, for this day we advise you to arrive between 3 and 4 pm).
End your day on the banks of the Arno to discover the Ponte Vecchio.

Day 3:
For this very busy day, start the visit to arrive at 8:15 am at the Chiostro della Scalzo (Cloister of the Discalced).
Continue with the discovery of the Cenacolo di Santa Apollonia (Holy Supper of Saint Apollonia).
The next step takes you to the San Marco museum.
Continue on to Piazza San Lorenzo, where you can access the various elements of the San Lorenzo Complex. You will discover the church of San Lorenzo, the Medici chapels and the Biblioteca Laurenziana.
Then go to piazza della Santissima Annuziata to discover it and visit also the church and the cloisters of the Santissima Annuziata.
Then go to the Archaeological Museum.
In the same square you can visit the Spedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents).
Continue to the Galleria del'Accademia.
End the day with a visit to Palazzo Medici Riccardi.
3rd day of visit |
Day 4:
To start your day, reach the church of Santa Maria Maddalena dei Pazzi.
Continue your visit with the church of Sant'Ambrogio.
You can then go to Casa Buonarroti.
Continue to the square and the church of Santa Croce.
Then cross the Arno river and reach the church of San Miniato al Monte located on the heights. You can get there by public transportation.
To finish the day, go to Piazzale Michelangiolo for the view of Florence.

Day 5:
To start your day, go to the Oltrano district to discover the church of Santa Felicita.
Continue to Palazzo Pitti and visit the Boboli Gardens which can be reached from Palazzo Pitti.
Then go to Piazza Santa Maria del Carmine to visit its church and the Brancacci Chapel.
You can then discover the church of San Felice.
Continue the visit with the church of Santo Spirito.
Then enjoy the rest of the day walking through the streets of Florence and shopping.
